It was great to see everyone at the Toronto, Pickering, and Oshawa weddding shows. We had a great response and are almost fully booked for the year. There are still dates open for 2007, and we're filling up fast for next year. The great news is after talking to all the major halls in the area, Four Seasons, Deer Creek, Royal Ashburn etc, we are the #1 photographers. Hmm... I wonder why? There must be a reason for this. I guess it's mainly because we do a great job and can be trusted. I guess after 25 years in Pickering and Ajax it must mean something to all our clients. If you haven't booked your wedding yet come and see us. You'll be amazed by our work and affordability!

Weddings and Portraits

We had a great Christmas for shooting portraits last year. I was told people laughed and cried as they opened their gifts and found one of our portraits. It's great knowing how much joy I've brought to the many people who received our photos for Christmas.

Our Wedding year is almost fully booked and I can't wait until the season gets underway. I got all great responses last year, one in particular from Claudia and Nizam:

"Chuck and Everyone at Pickering Photo,

Thank You for the amazing work you did with our wedding photos and video. The shots you took were spectacular and the summary video has everyone talking."

Movie Shoots

I shot the backgounds for The Good Shepherd last year in New York. The Movie was finally released this Christmas. I hope you had a chance to see it, if not it will soon be out on video. I shot the night and day backgrounds for the main character's (Matt Damon) residence in New York. Due to the restrictions of shooting times in the Hamptons the house had to be recreated in the studio and they used my backgrounds through the windows. If you look out the windows of the house (in the movie) you will see my backgrounds.

Some of the other projects I have worked on since "The Good Shepherd" are the upcoming movie with Dustin Hoffman "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium" which will be out soon, as well as three other Canadian productions:

  • Billable Hours
  • The Office
  • Blood Lines
